charity

We believe in Charity and Charitable donation. Not only is it important to our clients, it is important to us, and to the charities who benefit.

We support charity in three main ways:

Most importantly, we are able to donate large quantities of items from properties.  These can include clothing, kitchen items, glassware, some china, most books, household items, unsaleable furniture, brica brac, toys, etc.

The list is endless.

We try to pass items to the charities who can use them best.  For example, much of our furniture donation is directed to Anode, an inspirational locally based charity which helps all sectors of society in need.

Financially, we directly support the following Charities and good causes:

paignton zoo

We are pleased to support the Zoo regularly, and were their delivery partners for The Great Big Rhino project 2016. Also, in 2016 Simon Crawshay was pleased to be the auctioneer for the Zoo’s annual animal adoption auction raising in excess of £10,000.

paignton saints football club

We are proud to be the sponsors of the club shirts. As a Paigntonian, Simon is pleased to support this good cause.

brixham rugby club

Youth team.  Born in Brixham, Andrew is proud to sponsor the training kit for his nephew and their team.

Regular, often daily, donations are made to:

  • Anode

  • Age UK

  • YMCA

  • Rowcroft Hospice

  • Animals In Distress

  • British Heart Foundation

  • and many more...

We will also deliver items to any specific Charity, as often requested.

As a business, we make monthly donations to several other charities.

Finally, we believe in giving our time to good causes, wherever possible.

Simon is pleased to have supported Torbay Holiday Helpers Network as compere and auctioneer.

For ten years, Simon was compere and auctioneer for the renowned Over The Rainbow Ball, which raised in excess of £120,000 for charity.

Also, we were pleased to act as auctioneers at the Julie Woods memorial dinner which raised a record £23,000 in one afternoon, for gynaecological cancer research.

As a team, we are always looking for productive or inventive ways to help others.
