recycling
We are passionate about recycling. Not only does recycling reduce the Environmental impact of tipping, it helps to reduce cost.
We work to recycle as much as possible in the following ways:
charitable donation
One of the most productive ways of recycling (see below).
clothing and textiles
If not donated, fabric can be recycled. It has many uses in industry, and we are able to recycle all fabric, with pillows and duvets now being the only exception.
wood, glass and metal
Whilst we cannot say that all of these have full recycling rates, we increasingly strive to separate waste in order to recycle significant quantities.
By only using licensed waste transfer stations, we ensure that further sorting and recycling is continued by their governed processes.
Detailed waste transfer notes (tipping sheets) for each property are retained by us and the transfer station, detailing exact type of waste, weight, vehicle used, time and cost, and are always available for inspection.
In our offices, we even encourage recycling of all food packaging, paper, cardboard, drinks containers, etc.
